Anqing Foreign Language School’s annual Hallowmas was overflowed with children ’s happy laughter& cheerful voices, joyous festive atmosphere as well as colorful activities. More noticeably, Anqing Foreign Language School made adequate preparations for the marvelous carnival beforehand.
As is known to all, Hallowmas, a mysterious festival in western countries, is a grand ceremony for children to bring their imagination and creativity into full play. On the morning of 30th October, attracted by Hallowmas’ fame, kids from a great many primary schools of Anqing City arrived at the west campus of Anqing Foreign Language School to attend the festival, which was characterized by tons of laughter and the largest crowd.
The grand event officially started with paintings& calligraphy works from students of all grades in Anqing Foreign Language School. Other than that, what leapt to our eyes were pumpkin lamp sculptures filled with creativity and exquisite handicraft.
On the one hand, students put on various kinds of costumes and wore ghost make-up& masks to have fun on the spot. The flea market on the English Street embodied the features of traditional festivals in western countries& Anqing Foreign Language School’s campus culture by means of the design of English placards, English conversations and other programs.
On the other hand, students were deeply impressed by featured activities initiated by foreign teachers, riddle guessing, four-cornered games in addition to ball pitching. Besides, students’ talent show on stage was extremely popular.
To be specific, as a newly established scientific& technological project, the 3D printing enabled kids to experience the flawless blend in both the 3D science& technology and art, which sufficiently developed students’ intellectual resources, imagination, creativity and manual abilities. Therefore, 3D printing combined education with recreation and let children obtain knowledge through delightful experiences.
In conclusion, in the magic festive atmosphere, our children ’s smiles were even sweeter than candies owing to these fascinating events. The Halloween party conducted by Anqing Foreign Language School not only enabled each child to stroll in the festival culture to create wonders through freedom& cheerfulness, but also let them feel the happiness& felicity in a remarkable degree of buzz and excitement.
